Dinah was born in Wichita, Kansas and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She studied art at San Antonio College for two years then started taking classes at the Southwest School of Art. Her main focus has been printmaking and has been interning with a master printmaker at the school for the last 10 years. Dinah is also a member of The Southern Graphics Council.
Dinah's art is mostly based on domestic objects. "I was always intrigued by the homes of childhood friends, the time that their family spent on creating a domestic environment. The objects in their homes documented the lives they lived and triggered memories from the past. As the daughter of an artist mother, we moved a lot and my surroindings were constantly changing."
Dinah's prints explore the household, what people surround themselves with and how these objects have a story.
